Representative of Dolina Soče d.o.o.(Soča Valley), attended the final professional event in Bled, celebrating the100th anniversary of Triglav National Park as Slovenia’s only and largest national park. Over the past century, ambitious ideas, efforts, and actions have been dedicated to preserving this jewel of nature while ensuring quality living for those residing in and near the park, as well as its visitors. We hope for another hundred years of fruitful collaboration and coexistence in this magnificent area.

Cross-Border Collaboration within the Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve
Moreover, due to our close ties with neighboring areas, we are delighted to collaborate with our western neighbors in Benečija. (Slovene-speaking areas in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region). In this region is part of the Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve.The Julian Alps Biosphere Reserve is a designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve located in the Julian Alps, spanning parts of Slovenia and Italy. It is part of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme, which aims to promote sustainable development, conservation of biodiversity, and the harmonious coexistence of humans and natur. Our active living space stretches daily from the Adriatic Sea to Mount Triglav in Julian Alps, just as these two symbols are connected by our Soča River.
