Did you know that the Soča trout can grow up to 120 cm in length and weigh over 20 kg?  This noble fish, once on the brink of disappearing, was saved thanks to the dedication of local people and sustainable fish farming practices. LOCATION

Old Tolmin town and by Tolminka river.

PARKING

Car parking: We recommend that you leave your car at the parking lot called Brajda in Tolmin town center. 

USEFUL INFORMATION

Guiding language is English, Slovene or Croatian.
The trail is comfortable with wide paths, just for short it is a steep path (walking down). The path is in a shade of a forest just partly. Be prepared for sun exposure. We will have time to rest and seat on the way.

Activity level: easy walking.
Distance: 2,5 km in total.
Duration: 2 hours.
Altitude difference from starting point to the end is 30 m.
We recommend bringing water bottle. On the way is possibility to refill the bottle with a very good local water.

During summer you may stay in the local beach. Consider having bathing clothes and towels with you.

LIMITATIONS

No special limitations except for disabled people – steep path occasionally.
