3-Day Easy Hiking Package in Soča Valley and Monte Santo di Lussari (October 2024)

For a Croatian agency and their clients, we prepared a comprehensive three-day hiking package with local guides, accommodations, and meals, showcasing the most stunning natural wonders of the Soča Valley and nearby Italian regions. The adventure includes a trek near Tolmin and through the breathtaking Tolmin Gorge, a historical hike along the Kobarid path to the Kozjak Waterfall, and a full-day hike to Svete Višarje (Monte Santo di Lussari), located at the tri-border of Slovenia, Italy, and Austria. Due to bad weather one day and unexpected snowfall on the Svete Visšarje, we adjusted the program later. The group went on a hike to the Fuisne Lakes and during rain visit Tolmin Musem in Tolmin. Cheese Tasting in Tolmin (October 2024)

For a Croatian agency and their clients, we organized a local cheese-tasting experience in Tolmin. Cheese making in the Soča Valley has a rich history that dates back centuries, when local farmers began producing Swiss-style full-fat cheese in the mountain pastures where cattle were gathered for the summer season. This traditional cheese, known as Tolminc, is still crafted in the same mountain pastures today. Additionally, the northern part of the valley is renowned for its goat cheese, made from the endemic Drežniška goats and other local goat varieties.

New Cycling Routes in the Benečija Region

In partnership with DMO Turismo Benečija, we developed new cycling routes for mountain bikers and road cyclists, connecting the Soča Valley with the Benečija region. We determined suitable routes for cyclists and equipped the routes WITH GPX guides to be available available on maps and also as GPX files. Three of these routes are set to be presented at the London Trade Fair in November 2024 (05.-07.11.2024). WTM World London 2024 is a leading global event for the travel industry.

The Soča Valley offers a diverse network of cycling paths, from mountain trails in the Julian Alps to road biking routes on secondary roads, providing breathtaking views from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea. The new routes will be fully launched in winter 2024, effectively doubling the cycling options in the region.

3-Day Private Package in Bovec: Cycling, Ziplining, and Beauty Salon Visit

We organized a 3-day outdoor activity package in Bovec, featuring cycling, ziplining, and beauty treatments, all with personalized guides and exclusive timeslots, perfect for smaller groups 4-8 people. Unlike most programs with mix groups, where you join others who have booked the same experience, this package provides private transportation, guides, and tailored activities, ensuring a truly personalized experience. Although these packages may come at a higher cost, the unique and intimate experience they offer in the Soča Valley is truly invaluable.

Tolmin Gorges

Guided Tour of Tolmin Gorges with Lunch

A group of mothers, children, and professionals from a “safety house” (varna hiša) enjoyed a guided tour of the Tolmin Gorge and lunch in Tolmin town during their visit to the Soča Valley. Nestled in Slovenia’s countryside, the gorge, carved by the Tolminka and Zadlaščica rivers, offers stunning views of moss-covered rocks  and clear emerald pools. The walk includes a small warm-water spring, a reminder of Earth’s geothermal activity. The tour ended with a local lunch, making for a memorable day in this natural gem.

Day Trip to Tolmin and Kobarid - Natural Wonders and Historical Sites

A comprehensive program has been developed for larger group from Istria, Croatia, focusing on the exploration of the most significant WWI sites in the Soča Valley. The tour includes a visit to the Open-Air Museum near Tolmin, the WWI Ossuary in Kobarid, and the Walk of Peace Foundation. The experience is further enriched with a scenic stroll to the beautiful Kozjak Waterfall, located near the Soča River – a site that bore witness to fierce battles during the First World War. Despite the turbulent history, the emerald water continues to flow, and today we are left with impressive monuments and infrastructure from that era, providing access to once-inaccessible places and serving modern purposes.
