Canyoning in Sušec creek, located approximately 7 km from Bovec, is the perfect choice for everyone who desires to visit Slovenia nature’s water park. Because of its easy access, Sušec creek is suitable for a wide range of canyoners, beginners and canyoners with experience. Canyoning is a must experience when visiting the Soča Valley in Julian Alps in Slovenia.

TOUR OVERVIEW
Accompanied with our experienced guides, you will jump from several meters’ high waterfalls, plunge naturally formed slides, swim in the refreshing water, and shower with the falls of the stream Sušec. Your canyoning adventure starts with a 10 min drive from Bovec meeting point to the access of the canyon.
WHEN
15. March to 31. October. Up to three times a day.
DURATION
The canyoning trip takes up three hours coniderating canoyning, transport, changing clothes, walking to the starting point and giving safety instructions. Make sure to come to the sports office 15 min prior to the hour indicated on your reservation invoice.
CHILDREN
- Children from the age of 10 are welcome.
- Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians.

PARKING

USEFUL INFORMATION
- Advance reservations are most welcome, as activities may be sold out. We advise you to make a reservation as soon as possible when planning your holiday. If you are more unpredictable, you can also send an inquiry the day before the planned activity.
- Canyoning Bovec is a sport that demands more physical abilities, good physical fitness level and also a pinch more of bravery, which differs depending on the canyon.
- If you haven’t tried canyoning before, jumping from different altitudes or rappelling, we recommend the Sušec canyon.
- Because of its easy access to lower altitude jumps, Sušec is appropriate for beginners and younger canyoners. We use rappelling only once in Sušec canyon, on a 12 m high waterfall.
- The highest jump in Sušec is 6 m, the highest rappel is 12 m high.
- We will remind you of the exact time of arrival at the office with each reservation. We meet between 15 – 30 minutes before the chosen activity. Meeting times vary depending on the activity and the chosen date of the activity.
- Good general physical fitness is welcome for all activities.
- You are not accident-insured during the activity. Slovenian citizens are advised to arrange this insurance themselves. Foreign citizens are advised to arrange additional health insurance at home so that in the event of a doctor’s visit, they have all costs covered by their insurance company.
- Guiding language is English, Slovene or Croatian.
LIMITATIONS
Adrenaline activities like canyoning cannot be attended by:
- non-swimmers,
- pregnant women,
- people with reduced mobility, spinal problems or other psycho-physical injuries,
- people who are overweight,
- persons under the influence of psychotropic substances or alcohol.

BOOKING
Select your desired date and time slot for your rafting activity, add the number of people you are booking for, your personal data and email, and confirm the booking with a payment. Credit Card payments are accepted. After booking, you receive an email with your invoice and all the information for arrival information to the sports office in Bovec. A map and a calendar appointment are also provided to help you manage your arrival on time.
