Self-Guided Road Bike Packages for Biking in Slovenia's Soča Valley and Surrounding Areas

GPX road bike tracks and stays for road biking in Soča valley included

Soča Valley in Slovenia offers an immense network of secondary asphalt roads perfect for road bike enthusiasts and road biking. Roads spanning along the border hilltops between Slovenia and Italy, crossing pre-Alps mountain range and high plateaus, offering lots of undulations, ascents and descents, but most of all amazing views wherever you ride. With the Julian Alp scenery in the north and views all the way down to the Adriatic Sea.

Soča Valley offers great mountain passes as well. Like Vršič, Predel, Učja, Livek, but also mountain tops like Mangrt, Kolovrat enabling you to gain plenty of altimetry meters on your daily rides. There are some nice valley roads as well, for more comfortable returns or easier day outs.

No wonder Soča Valley roads are regularly on schedule of Tour of Slovenia or Giro d’Italia road race stages.

The selection of all proposed road bike tours was ridden by us, locals riders, who selected the best possible portfolio of ride options along secondary roads with plenty of Strava segments for those who fancy them. Plus, you get a list of places to go to (restaurants, bars, where you can meet with local riders as well).

Our bike packages include great accommodation options in the Soča Valley (hotels, farmhouses, selected houses), downloadable GPX routes, detailed (physical) maps and direct phone support.
